Comic Coloring 101-"Getting Started "

This 10-hour workshop is for you if you've never used Photoshop or if you've played around with the program a bit but have had no formal training in coloring line art for comic books. You'll learn the basic skills you need to get started. We'll start by getting familiar with the Photoshop interface. We'll cover prepping a line art file for coloring from scratch, understanding scanning resolution, resizing images, working with layers, making selections & channels, embellishing with the airbrush and gradients, creating your own color palettes, and more.

Comic Coloring 102-"Advanced Techniques"

This 10-hour workshop is for students that have already taken Comic Coloring 101-"Getting Started ". We'll cover how to do color holds on the line art, and special effects. Practice different types of coloring such as the airbrush look and anime style coloring. Cover how to create balloons and lettering.
